Why I have started Youtube

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.

Todays post is about why I have started my own Youtube channel. If you didn't know already, I have recently started YouTube and have only posted a handful of videos but I have really enjoying it. So I thought that I would do a little post explaining why I started and maybe in the future (like in a couple of months) I will make a video all about this and if Youtube has done this for me. So lets get on to the three main reasons why I started Youtube.

TIME TO PLAY WITH?
My current situation is that I am working part-time as a sales assistant. I was taken on for Christmas and I have been kept on til June, but when that time comes, I will have a lot of time free. I will be looking for other jobs but it isn't a big worry at this moment in time because I still live at home and I will be taken back on back in about September/October I think, for the same job. I also help my mum out a lot so I won't be completely doing nothing. This is one reason why I wanted to continue with my blog and create a channel, so I had something to focus on whether 1 or 100 people read/watch.

SOCIAL LIFE
It is fair to say I don't have the best social life compared to a lot of people my age, which for me is not a massive deal. But I really enjoy interacting with people on social media, mainly twitter, that I don't know personally. I love it when other creators tweet me back, like Meg from MegSays, we sometimes have little conversations via twitter, nothing too much just the little things. I also see people like Gabby (velvetgh0st) and Hannah (Fabulous Hannah) and others tweeting each other, I love reading the conversations and think I would love to have that with other people, not in a jealous way though. I see a lot that Youtube can create genuine friendships and that is what everyone wants in life, right?

CAREER DIRECTION AND OPPORTUNITY'S
If anything is to come of my channel/blog, I would be over the moon. My aim is to have a positive influence on others and also connect with others. It might sound cheesy but I feel like Youtube would be the perfect job for me becuase it is something I can control, but also very creative and, if everything goes right, will be a positve thing for me. I have never really known 'what I want to be when I grow up' but then I studied Media from year 10 as a GCSE then at college I studied Media, Film and Photography at A-Level and I really enjoyed it. From there I knew I wanted to be in the media side of things. Youtube seemed to just fit into that area and I am determined to focus on this and hopefully opportunity's will open up.

And that's the end of today's post, I hope you understand the reason why I started a YouTube channel. First and foremost with my channel I just want to have fun with it and see where I end up with it because you never know. So until next time...

Lush Review : Guardian of the Forest

Hello everyone, I hope you are well

So todays post is all about the Lush bath bomb Guardian of the Forest and I have even gone and made a little video of the footage I got. Its not amazing because I didn't think I would be able to make a video out due to editing but I realised I have Movie Maker. Anyways, getting back onto the subject, I am going to give you my opinion of this bath bomb to give you an idea of what it's like.

If you didn't already know, I got a gift box for my birthday which had a bunch of different bath bombs in, all from Lush, and I thought it would be fun to share my opinion on them after I have used them. So, if you was to by this product of its own it would cost £3.95 which is a good price for the quality of their products. The Guardian of the Forest bath bomb's description on the website is:

"See with eyes uncovered as you find the spirit of the forest, dappled with mossy greens and soft with the shimmer of lustre. Prickly on the senses at first, the calming cypress and mystical oakmoss absolute will embrace you, drawing you into the bright, sunlit heart of this woodland bomb, packed full of fragrant rosewood oil. One to faun over."

The colour of the bath bomb itself is so pretty, with a pattern on a tree on it which is cute because it relates to its name 'forest'. I have to admit, I didn't think I would like this one as much because I am more of a sweet person when it comes to scents. But when I put this in my bath Oh My God, it smelt lovely! For me, the smell that immersed as soon as I put the bath bomb in the water was tea bags which sounds so weird but I really liked it. I was so shocked of how nice it smelt. I was instantly put in a good mood and is definitely a product you would use if you want to de-stress and unwind. If you want to see what happened when I put the bath bomb in my bath then take a look at my little montage I put together below. I think next time I use a lush product I might do a more talkative video and make it longer like a proper review.

And thats it for this post. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed reading and also my little video, let me know your thoughts on the video. Also tell me what your favourite lush product is so that I can try some new ones and I will see you in my next post.
