June Favourites 2015

I have been loving a lot of things this month ranging from body care to music. So here they are:
French Connection Sugar Scrub & Body Lotion
My first favourite is the French Connection Body lotion and sugar scrub. I included this in my Bath Time routine post and I really like these products. I would not normally go for a named brand like this but it was a present for my birthday and I will be definitely re-purchasing these. My skin feels so much more healthier and smoother after using these products 3-4 times a week.

Boots Body Lotion
I have recently started using this body lotion too, switching between this and the french connection one. I have had it for a while so I don't know if they are still sold but it smells amazing and also is great for the skin. The scent is passion fruit which smells so nice and fruity which is perfect for summer. The light purple colour of the lotion is so pretty too alongside the packaging which looks so cute on my shelf.

POLICE - TO BE perfume

I have been really loving this perfume at the moment. I got it for Christmas and have been using this ever since.  don't really use a lot of perfume as I use the JLS perfumes because they are my favourite smell but this scent is really sweet which is what I look for in a perfume. I definitely recommend if you like sweet smells. Also the packaging is so cool looking as it is in the shape of a skull which also looks amazing on my shelves.

Printed Trousers
I am obsessed with printed trousers. The three pairs above are from Primark and are hareem style trousers which are perfect for summer. I am unsure of the prices of all of them, I think some was £7 and one was £12 but for Primark, I feel really comfortable in them and they pair up well with white and black tops. These are perfect for people, like me, who don't have much colour in their wardrobe.

Fabulous Magazine
This is a free magazine which comes with The Sun on Sunday which I always get. The past two weeks have been my favourite for a while purely because of the people featured on the cover and inside. 2 weeks ago was a fathers day special which featured Tom Fletcher from McBusted/Mcfly on it and this week had Little Mix on the cover and Aston Merrygold inside looking very fit. You have to admit that Aston is smoking hot!

Mason Jar Cup
I really love this cup which I got whilst browsing through Home Bargains. Of all places to find this I was so surprised and it was only 49p! I mean WHAT A BARGAIN! It is such good quality and for 49p it is well worth your money. It also looks super cute, my favourite thing at the moment to have in it is this orange and mango juice or lime juice filled with ice and a slice or lemon and lime. It is definitely Insta-Worthy.

Favourite Albums
At the moment, my favourite albums are Mcfly's Motion of the Ocean and McBusted. I can't stop listening to these because I am to excited to see them. I go to see McBusted at Scarborough for the second year in a row on the 18th of July with my best friend and she let me know how many days there were to the concert and now I am super excited! These are great albums too! If you haven't listened to them, go and do it and you can thank me later!

Favourite Songs At the Moment

Aston Merrygold - Get Stupid
Being a JLSter I am backing Aston 100% and even if I wasn't this song is amazing!. The beat is amazing, the lyrics are so catchy and he looks so good in the video. I think everyone should get stupid whilst listening to this!

Little Mix - Black Magic
I love this song. It is amazing. It is such a good 'get up and dance' song which really gets you in the mood. The video is so good as well, I like the whole story line with the girls being nerds at college then they find the book of magic and their lives change. Can we just appreciate how good Jesy looks in the red two piece!?

Kanye West - BLKKK SKKKN HEAD
This song is quite different to my other two but the beat to this song is so good! I am a great fan of Kanye and his music, more his old music than his new but I have to admit he is a genius. Watching his Glastonbury performance just made me love this song even more, I think because I really love hearing songs live. He is controversial but I love that.

Well I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what are your favourites from this month and what you would recommend.

Bath Time Routine

Today I am going to talk about my bath time routine that I use daily to keep my hair and body in good condition. Especially as it is coming into summer, looking after your hair and skin is important. Here is what products I use to ensure that my skin is clear and hydrated and my hair is in great condition.

Pre-Bath:
Its is hard to believe that for an 18 year old girl, I have never used a face mask so I picked one up from Tesco to see what they are like. I chose the 'Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask' which came out blue which I thought was such a nice colour. I thought this one sounded great as I have just finished stressing after my exams so I wanted something that would help de-stress.

As you can see below I thought it was funny having a blue face, looking like a smurf. After letting the mask dry for about 10 mins I washed it off in the bath with warm water. After getting out the bath I looked in the mirror and, not only my face felt and looked fresh, but my black heads that were on my nose were mostly gone. I definitely recommend this face mask!

Bath:

For the bath, it is important for me to have a bath that looks and smell good and for this I used a number of products which I highly recommend. Starting off with the bubbles which every bath needs, I used Zoella's 'Soak Opera' which produces amazing bubbles and also smells amazing. I have had this bottle since Christmas and it has lasted so long so it is a bargain for the cost (cost: £5).

Next I add some colour to my bath using a bath fizzer I got for my birthday. This was the last fizzer in the pack but it makes the brightest pink that I absolutely love. Within seconds of dropping the fizzer in the bath, the water turned bright pink which was so cute especially with the Zoella bubbles.

I washed my hair separately but I use the Tesco 'my senses' shampoo and conditioner from there higher end. I feel like people buy the expensive shampoo and conditioner not knowing there are cheaper products out their that can do just as good as expensive products. The sent is berries and it is perfect for summer as it just smells so sweet and fruity.
The body wash I use goes well with the scent of the shampoo and conditioner as it is also berry flavour. It is a Radox shower gel and smell so nice and fruity and goes well with the scent my hair is now.
To smooth my skin I use the French Connection Sugar Scrub which I got from one of my best friends for my birthday. Alongside this I got the body lotion which goes with the sugar scrub which I use when I get out the bath. The smell of these products is so nice and what I describe of rich. These products have made my skin feel and look better and I have used them since February so I highly recommend them.

Post-Bath
After I get out the bath, I apply the French Connection Body Lotion that I talked about just now to my skin which makes it soft and also smell so nice. Next I get on my PJ's and start on my hair.
When it comes to my hair I don't want to have knots in it when I wake-up the next day so I plait my hair into two. I first put some Moroccon Argan Oil which I have used since the beginning of the year and I have noticed my hair is more shinier and repaired. After applying the oil I go ahead and plait my hair into two.

And that's what I do most nights just to unwind and relax after a long day. I hope you take something from this post and try out some of the products because the a great for you hair/body. Thank You for reading!

Starting something new

Hi
My name is Bethany, or Beth for short, and I am 18 years old.

I have decided to start this blog for something I can focus on now I have a lot of spare time. I have just finished my two years at college and don't have any immediate plans for work at the moment but I want to have something to do and focus on during this time. I studied photography, media and film so I will be posting some of my photography work on here as well as other bits and bobs that show my personality well.

I hope, if anyone is actually reading this, that you enjoy what I post and hopefully make something of this.
